  • John Wesley – Founder of Methodism.

  • Abbe Pierre – French Priest known for humanitarian works.
  • Dietrich Bonhoeffer – Germany priest who opposed Hitler
  • Desmond Tutu – South African Bishop who opposed apartheid.
  • Martin Luther – Great leader of the Reformation.

  • Maximilian Kolbe – Polish priest. Volunteered to die in someone’s place at Auschwitz.
