He began at the age of 13, when he really wanted to begin a domain company because of his interests in design and the web in general. At the age of 13 he had his business partner Mark Downson to sign the business papers and begin the journey to become a young business man.
In 2005 His small domain company went up and began selling web hosting space. Once he made enough money he brought his first data center/house in Cambridge, Kent.
So his big break in the web business was in fact 2005 when he earned enough money to expand with data centers to host IBM, Cisco, and Pipex exchange pipes.
In 2006 he continued with new data centers opening in Chatham, Tonbridge, Istead Rise, and Northfleet.
In 2007 He become one of the richest in Gravesend when he reportedly has a net worth of £600,000,000 (600 million) all tied up in his businesses Gateway Hosting Inc and IB IT Limited.
Now in 2008 His and Mark Downsons Gateway Hosting Inc organization is large company hosting more than 59,000 active domain names and websites.
By 2010 it is said that with the success of Peter Maginns new operating system, He will Gain an extra £5.7 Million.
