thats a good list. I wish I knew more poetry..Will be back to read more
I like Robert Frost. I don't read poetry much, mostly Dr. Suess around here.
Those are some heavy hitters! Would be hard to pick a favorite...
Happy T13 and thanks for stopping by!
I switched my 13 Poets to 13 American paintings (purposely withholding artist and title) as I had recently written, Poetry: for School and Soul.
I love the British 20th century poets, especially, Larkin, Auden, and MacNeice, I was introduced to them through Alan Bennett.
And for shame! The War for Independence, or perhaps it might be catagorized as, 'That American Insurrection Business', is English history as well!
Cheers!
My favorite are Maya Angelou & Kahlil Gibran :) Thanks for stopping by!

Love your list. You've got a couple of my favorites on your list.
Hope you have a blessed weekend.
Whitman at only 10! Hmmm, downvote! ;-)
